The Goal: front entrance renovation to complement interior and exterior updates, included modest patio, updated front entry, and plant list that the owner could plant over time.
The Client: working professional
The Timeline: site design = 6 months, construction coordination = 4 months
The Details: the client wanted to maximize every inch of her tiny yard to create comfy sitting spaces and the cool neighborhood hang-out for kids and adults, and she wanted gardens instead of lawn. A tiny patio was tucked in, surrounded by small gardens that she could manage on one side, and a rock garden on the other. Wide, welcoming steps now draw the eye to her new front door and porch.
